@lamag: Twenty-five years after 9/11, newly declassified evidence is shedding new light on two hijackers’ time in Southern California — and raising questions that remain unanswered.   Nawaf al-Hazmi and Khalid al-Mihdhar, two of the men who would later hijack American Airlines Flight 77, arrived at LAX in January 2000 after attending an al Qaeda planning summit in Malaysia. According to a landmark civil lawsuit filed by families of 9/11 victims, the men were then aided by individuals with alleged ties to the Saudi government.
