@usct.la: Weekend 710 closure starts Friday night. A stretch of the northbound 710 Freeway in Long Beach will close from Ocean Boulevard to Anaheim Street from 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday so crews can demolish ramps connected to the Shoemaker Bridge. Port of Long Beach officials said this is the first of three planned weekend closures. The Shoemaker Bridge is scheduled to close Sept. 18 to 21, followed by a southbound 710 closure from Anaheim Street to Pico Avenue on Sept. 25 to 28. #LongBeach #710Freeway #ShoemakerBridge #PortOfLongBeach #TrafficAlert
