@lilychronicallyfabulous: This is why I do what I do! Say what you want about it, but just know I don’t do this for the people who don’t like my content, I do this for the people I’ve made feel less alone in this awful lonely world we live in. It certainly isn’t ‘COOL’ to have a chronic illness/disability, it’s not ‘FASHIONABLE OR TRENDY’ to have a walking aid & we certainly are not ‘SICKFLUANCERS’! We are aloud to use are platforms to educate and raise awareness of invisible disabilities (because we quite clearly need to right now), using coloured walking aids that match us and who we are or decorating a wheelchair isn’t to encourage other people to use them for no reason, we do it as ‘chronic’ is for life so why can’t we use aids that make us feel better and happy? And don’t even get me started on this ‘sickfluancer’ 🐃crap! We are not over here influencing anyone! Why in gods green earth would anyone want to have a disability! No ne chooses this life! And if we could give it back we would, in a heartbeat! And disabilities/chronic illnesses don’t give a shit who you are, what you do for a living, how much money you have or how fit you are! They just come and that’s it. So just remember that, remember that when your judging someone and something you know nothing about.
