Welcome to Hever Castle in Kent, just 40min train from London Bridge and 20min walk through the town and the woodlands. It is a beautiful historic castle that was once the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. And in autumn, with all the red and golden leaves, it feels even more magical. Before heading inside, I’d definitely recommend bringing a picnic and enjoying the beautiful views. Inside, you’ll step into over 600 years of history, from its medieval beginnings to its Tudor connections, including objects from Anne Boleyn. And then there are spectacular Italian Gardens, that showcases stunning sculptures fountains, grottoes and views across the lake.
