My cows labor just stopped and she ended up having a twisted uterus. We had her checked out when it stopped and the first vet we took her to said the baby was still alive and fine uterus was fine, but days went by and she started becoming septic. she had an emergency c section and the new vet said her uterus was twisted and calf was dead. We lost our sweet girl the next day after the c section. So we lost both of them. It was absolutely devastating. It still haunts me to this day.

I’d recommend cutting the apple into smaller pieces. Once, one of my dad’s heifers ate a whole apple, fallen from a tree near the pasture and unfortunately choked on it… After that, we stopped letting the animals graze in that area☹️❤️

I have a highland first timer right now and I’m so nervous for her.. she’s so hairy it’s hard to see any signs!! She definitely seems uncomfortable though.. so pretty positive she is pregnant!
