@r2reports: Saudi Arabia’s main oil route around Hormuz is burning, and analysts still disagree over whether the fires came from an attack or emergency flaring. The kingdom has been using the East-West pipeline to bypass Iran’s disruption of Hormuz. Iran-backed Houthis have now advanced to the entrance of the Red Sea, putting pressure on Saudi Arabia’s other export route. With both chokepoints under strain, the risk to global oil markets is rising. #SaudiArabia #Iran #IranWar #Houthis #Oil #Hormuz #RedSea #Yemen
