idc im quick to tell a table that isn’t mine i’ll grab their server when they keep trying to run me around. like no, you’re actually not paying me for service, so you can be patient and wait to ask your server. even if my tables do it, i tell my other servers to come get me and do not serve them.

Tbh as much as I get annoyed with people moving sections without asking I just have to remember that a lot of people who have never worked in a restaurant don’t understand how restaurants really work and how much of a pain in the ass it is, they don’t even think about it so it’s not like they’re purposefully trying to inconvenience you
