We had a zip line in grade 7 camp… 23 years ago… I used all my bravery climbing up the damn tree (hooked in btw). Couldn’t do it. Do I regret not doing it? Absolutely, was there anything that could have been done in that moment? Nope. Because they knew I was slow, they knew I was fearful so made me go last and everyone was hungry lol. So they gave up fairly quickly- and I don’t blame them, but adult me is very much like “girl you would have loved it!”

My teachers like “you don’t have to but if you don’t you will regret it” and they are right bc once I didn’t go kayaking and that was 5 years ago I still think about how fun it would have been

Once on a year 4 school trip, I didn’t want to go on a kayak and then the instructor dragged me by my leg into the kayak. I’m scarred for life now.

I once went to school camp and they had a zip line it was over a lake and they were suppose to catch me when I go to the opposite side they didn't catch me I was stuck on the middle of it

I was on a residential in Year 6 and I was scared of the rock climbing wall, then my teacher pressured me into doing it, I was fine but a bit shaken up and all I got was a CERTIFICATE. 💔

i went on a trip to ziplines in year 7, and i was at the very top and was about to go down but i couldnt i was terrified and i started crying as soon i got down and cried again 2 times
