My uncle was one of the jumpers, he made one last call home before he went, my aunt has that voicemail recording saved and will never let it go, I miss that man every day off my life, no one deserved this, no one ever deserves this

My daddy was a firefighter helping people get out of the WTC he still suffers so much to this day. I was born one year and 5 months after 9/11 if he didn’t survive that day I would never have existed

My brother always tells me the story of his teacher who ended up taking vacation and going to New York City specifically to see the twin towers and he was at his class when the news broke. They made an announcement to put the TV on, and they watched live as everything was going down with a thought of their teacher being there at that moment. His teacher never made it back safely home.

My dad was in NYC and flew out on the morning of 9/11. My mom was home alone with me. She saw on the news about the 2nd tower getting hit and was in absolute terror until my dad’s plane was landed and he called her. I cannot even imagine what the victims went through and their families. 😭

I shed a tear when watching a video abt 9/11. I didn't have anybody that was In that event, i wasn't even born then, and yet, I felt sympathetic of those families who lost thier family like it was my own family.

My mom told me once her friend worked there and called her before she jumped “I love you so much your the best friend I could ever ask for I can’t wait to see you in heaven” and 20 years later my mom went to heaven. Pray they are together.
