Deepseek is inferior to basically all the other models listed at logic and math. Last I checked Deepseek wasn’t formalising Fermatts last theorem or solving millennium price questions. It’s great for simpler, repetitive tasks because it is extremely cheap and still almost as capable. That being said, any of the models is now capable of the kind of math most people would ever need it for. Even for me, in post grad ai/ml and math, but not frontier research level, they are capable of most questions easily.
