As a nurse I agree 💯 with him. I went to private Catholic college, so expensive, and so much debt. Others went to community college 2 years, no debt and we are all working at the same hospital, they’re stress free , owning their degree, and we are renting a degree and still paying debt. 😅

Dave is right on this point. I have been a lawyer for 20 years and I have been asked one time where I went to school. Reputation and personality is what matters.

Not for the client but it does for the individual that obtain the degree. There are differences in colleges and universities.

I definitely looked up where my doctor went to school and did their residency before choosing them. I’ve also been a hiring manager and for recent grads where you went to school definitely factors in, depending on the role. After that first job, not so much.

It does matter depending on what field you’re going into. If you’re going to be a lawyer or a doctor, you have a lot more opportunities and job offers than a less notable college.
