Cuban-American here 🇺🇸🇨🇺 I came on a boat with nothing but the clothes on my back. In Cuba my father was a naval engineer and my mom was a teacher. My parents worked all types of jobs when we got here. I became a realtor to help them buy a house. I became a nurse and soon to be a Nurse Practioner because I will be taking care of them until they go to God. I’m buying another house with an annex for them. They are going to sell their home and keep that money for them to enjoy life. They sacrificed their entire life for me. I owe it to them. Thank you America!! If it wasn’t for this country, I would have nothing to help my parents. God bless this kid 🙏🏼 I think as Cubans we are taught to love and respect our parents. Respect EVERYONE.

I'm 63yrs young at heart, this just made me cry like a baby, I will pass away not knowing what a mother n fathers love is, they both abandoned me in the late 60's, what ever hate I went through as a kid, I became a great man with a rich heart with God in my heart, so this is what I tell every kid, don't ever disrespect your mom n dad if you have no reason too, in the name of Jesus Amen 🙏💯

I have cried with this video, I also left Cuba but my parents are still there and I give them life if they ask me for it, because despite not having much they did what they could. My children were born here and when we go to the store I buy them candy because as a child I went to the store with my mom and I wanted to buy a piece of gum called Mitimiti and it cost 25 cents and they couldn't buy it for me. God bless the United States of America 🇺🇸
