the best way i understood it as a catholic.... gay sex is a sin , and so is lying ,swearing , stealing etc etc...and everybody sins , it's just , what do you want to do about your sins at the end of the day... if that makes sense

I have seen enough gay men be accepted in the church and subsequently lose the same sex attraction that God's desire is pretty clear. Our place is to love, not judge. This goes for every sinners. God bless 🙌

I actually agree with a lot you said here. yeah its true that many Protestant churches just read the same 10 chapters on a loop. it is true there is a lot of sexual immorality, not only in Protestant churches, but even more broadly in Christianity in general including RCC and EO such in fornication and corn. yeah, a lot of Christians, especially Protestants, and to some degree RCC and EO, fail to call out sins going on. but i have 2 criticisms for your video. 1: you framed this as a Protestant issue and thats why gay people think Christians hate them. its not just a Protestant issue. 2: i would stop short of saying contraceptives are a sexual immorality. you can make that argument sure, and you can create a great argument backed by scripture absolutely. but you can also just as validly make the opposite argument. thats all. The same people who often discourage gay people from going to church regularly engage in drunkenness, premarital s3x, or whatever else. It annoys me how much they push people away from the church

I totally agree with a lot of this as a Catholic. I also think there is a difference between loving people who experience same-sex attraction & affirming everything attached to modern Pride culture. The Church calls ALL of us to chastity & repentance. The issue is when any sin becomes an identity we are expected to celebrate instead of something we bring to Christ.

Jesus had more to say about heterosexual sins than homosexual; no apparent mention at all actually. “If you even look at a women with lust, you have already committed lust with her in your heart.” How many times do I hear Christian’s condemn homosexuals, and then gawk at a pretty girl walking by? Then acting like you’re weird if you don’t do the same. Why do so many Christian/non-Christian men, treat women like sex objects and think it’s okay? And you know what that’s not a problem with gay men, you don’t see them gawking at women or treating them like objects.

I agree with everything you said but all the churches I’ve been to (non-denom, church of God, and reformed Baptist) talk about pornography a lot but mostly in the young adult service or back when I was in middle/high school. They don’t see as much as an adult problem which is just wrong.
