I know this is comparatively table stakes, but it really weirds me out that fans also cater the meals on sets (both catering meals and sending food trucks), because in America the set is required to provide catering to the crew.

Money Bouquets are fun to send because they are basically like art, and you can make really cool designs. Plus they don’t wilt like flowers. It’s a cultural thing in Thailand.

A fan tried to give one actor a luxury car but the car was graciously and kindly declined through his main fanclub and they thanked the fan but this particular actor has made it clear fans do not have to give him anything he loves his fans just for loving him. I respect that so much cause some of the actors have actually accepted the big gifts. And at least one company was allowing access to their actors to big spender fans at some events.

I needed a few (many) minutes to process this. That’s wild. I can’t really understand it as anything other than basically trying to be a collective sugar momma for people who (afaik) didn’t ask for it? Maybe I’m just not enough of a findom (not a typo), but honestly, I’d be afraid of getting a condo from a fan.

Kpop is very in debt in the beginning because they have to pay for everything! The company will pay for their teeth ,plastic surgery even their costumes. The company pays and the artist have to pay them back for everything they took. I believe they have to pay part of the tour schedule too. In some interviews they talk about not having money for food. I don’t know it Thai BL has a similar set up. Can you imagine having all of that debt and you never get to debut.
