The things I remember most about that day was the incredible bravery, courage and unity of everyone that was involved. I never heard one story about someone leaving a person behind because they were Muslim or a person of color. NYC represented the best of America that day. Now if we could all stand together, and not let hate divide us, we could truly honor them.
