I just started a toy rotation for my 6 and 3 year old boys and it changed my life lol. But it’s a lot of work. They keep the same toys for about 2 weeks. It’s working so far. I extra love it for my 2 year old girl. Especially helpful to keep her occupied while we homeschool.

I reallyyyyy tried to do toy rotations but the closet we kept the extra in my son started being able to open the door at 12 m and was constantly wanting his stuff out of there. His memory of them still shocks me to this day😅 I gave up at 15 m because it just didn’t work for us anymore. I really thought it would for a lot longer than it did.

I'm in an IDENTICAL position! 3 and 5 year old and just had my 3rd boy. I was thinking the same thing about getting rid of the rotation but im scared to have them all out lol. I'd love to see a haul of everything you have out!

I hope to have a big playroom someday to have all our toys out too! Toy rotation is necessary right now in our smaller apartment 🥲 and I agree the larger toys are too hard to store in little cubbies!

Yeah I had to stop a toy rotation at 4 for my daughter too! She started to just help herself to things that were put away 😅 youngest is 2, she’s mostly never seen a toy rotation because of that
