AD team, I am SO excited to show you this! 🤍 Every now and then, a new tool comes along that makes me stop and think, “Ooooh… this could really level up the way I work.” As both a brand designer and design teacher, mockups are something I use constantly. They help me show clients what their brand could look like in the real world, and they’re also a huge part of teaching students how to present their work professionally. I’ll be honest, I’m not someone who jumps on every AI tool that comes along. I think there is so much value in the creativity, intention and human thinking behind great design. But this? This is where I see the potential. Photoshop’s new Rotate Image and Harmonise tools aren’t creating the design for you. They’re helping remove some of the technical barriers between an idea and the finished result, giving you more freedom to experiment, explore and bring your creative vision to life. AI assists. Creatives create. You’re still the one bringing the ideas, strategy and vision to the table. The technology just helps you unlock more of what’s possible. I was also really pleased to see the controls Adobe has in place around original work, including that original content isn’t used to train generative AI models with these new features. As a designer (and teacher), that was something I was genuinely excited to see and something I think creatives will really appreciate. I’m SO excited to start using the new Photoshop Rotate Image tool and Harmonise feature in both my client work and the classroom.
