@meg.beacon: I never thought I’d be power pumping to increase my milk supply at 9 months postpartum. But here I am. After my baby was unwell recently, my supply took a bit of a knock. And because breastfeeding is still so important to us, I’m trying to build it back up. So tonight, while he’s sleeping, I’m sitting here pumping. At 9pm. Tired. Probably a little ridiculous. But also completely determined. 😂 There is something funny about motherhood. You think you’ve reached a certain stage and you’ve got it figured out, and then your baby needs something different from you and suddenly you’re learning all over again. I’m not sure how much milk this pump is going to produce. I’m not even sure how long I’ll keep doing this. But tonight, I’m trying. And sometimes that’s what motherhood looks like. Doing one more thing at the end of an already very long day because your baby needs you. One pump. One bottle. One feed. One day at a time. 🤍 #breastfeeding #breastfeedingmom #motherhood #momlife #postpartum
