Was in a tournament arc once as a tempest cleric. I knew my friend had less hp than me and even though her dex was good my save was like 17 or 18 and she was primarily melee. Max damage max level call lighting and run. I felt so bad I’m pretty sure she was pissed in and out of character😭

One of my fellow players sent me his character sheet googdoc so I could use it as a template for my character. A few levels later his character tried to stop mine from getting somewhere. Ooh boy, remember your poor mental saves? Your AC you haven’t been able to buff since level 1? He was a barb and I was a crit fishing fighter. Sure you halve my damage. But half of 4d12+7 is still a hell of a lot. Oh your build is all about reactions? My attacks can disable reactions. I knew us two powerbuilders would come face2face some day. I had a contingency like batman
