If you want your Sphynx to thrive and stay healthy for years to come, the quality of their food is one of the most important things you can control every single day. I strongly recommend feeding a fresh, species-appropriate diet - whether that’s a properly formulated fresh gently cooked or fresh raw diet. Fresh food can provide high-quality, minimally processed nutrition to support your Sphynx’s overall health, including their immune system, skin, coat, digestion, energy, and body condition. And while canned food is generally a better option than dry food, it’s still highly processed. Dry kibble is my least-preferred choice because cats are obligate carnivores and are biologically designed to thrive on animal-based nutrition with plenty of moisture.
