This is my great grandparents’ home. That precious house raised four generations, myself included. My grandmother was born, raised, and married there and I also was blessed to spend a large part of my childhood there. My great grandparents kept it pristine, even in their elderly years, as they both lived to be in their 90s. Unfortunately, after it was sold and owned by someone else, it was not cared for and maintained like it deserved to be, which is now why there are issues. Sadly, this is proof of what happens when people neglect their homes. It’s so much more than a “snake pit” and I will always treasure it. I pray you guys are able to restore it and bring her back to her glory. Older homes require a whole different level of care and attention, but they are so unique, compared to the new constructions today.

The good news is after yall move in and start moving around they will eventually leave and find new homes. It might take a year or two but many will leave and then in less then 5 years you’ll see none in your house/living space is

Depends on the state. I’d be scared if it were in Texas or Arizona where we have rattlers. 🤷🏻♀️
