@atlneurosurgeon: Some patients leave an impact that follows you long after their care is over. 🧠 When I was asked which patient interaction changed me as a neurosurgeon, I couldn’t choose just one. After 10 years in neurosurgery, several patients and families have changed how I practice medicine, care for people, and even how I look at life. Anyone working in healthcare, whether you’re a doctor, nurse, NP, PA, surgeon, therapist, or another member of the healthcare team, knows how fast everything can change. One accident. One diagnosis. One scan. One conversation. For a patient and their family, that single moment can separate life into before and after. These are a few of the stories I still carry with me. ❤️ Healthcare workers, is there a patient you’ll never forget? 🧠 Dr. Steven Spitz @atlneurosurgeon Atlanta Neurosurgeon #HealthcareWorkers #Nurses #Doctors #Patient
