@kneadingmodernwellness: I’ve learned that sometimes my kids don’t need a million questions when I pick them up from school. They need a snack, some water, a little quiet, and to know that I missed them. They’ve been “on” all day, so I want home to feel like a place where they can finally exhale. If they want to tell me about their day, I’m all ears. If they don’t, that’s okay too. Sometimes connection looks less like asking questions and more like simply being there.
