For people like me that don’t have a visual imagination do this but with your feelings. Allow yourself feel the connection between you and the earth. Expand your awareness to feeling the wind, feeling the energy of the plants and trees. for the longest time I thought something was wrong with me and that there was something blocking me because I couldn’t visualize when I did these practices. But I have learned to tap into my own magic by using my other senses 🫶🏼

I want to mention that the first grounding technique is also taught in therapy. Its scientifically proven to calm your nervous system. Once your body tunes into that you have a much easier/better experience and communication with yourself. Started out as a coping mechanism for me but is now spiritual practice. It just makes sense. Also, if you're in a place that you don't feel comfortable imagining roots (I experience this in crowded areas and before entering heavy places) you can imagine a bubble that can carry you over that energy.
