@aexyuvi: The Musical (2026) is an American comedy that turns a bitter breakup into an outrageous battle of revenge. Directed by Giselle Bonilla in her feature directorial debut and written by Alexander Heller, the film stars Will Brill, Gillian Jacobs, and Rob Lowe, who also produces the movie. It follows Doug Leibowitz, a struggling playwright and middle school theater teacher who is already frustrated with his career when he discovers that his ex-girlfriend has begun dating the school’s principal, a man Doug considers his greatest rival. Unable to let go of his anger, Doug decides to sabotage the principal’s chances of receiving the prestigious Blue Ribbon of Academic Excellence by creating a deliberately inappropriate and chaotic school musical. However, his revenge plan quickly becomes much bigger than expected as the production spirals into complete madness, dragging students, teachers, and the entire school into the chaos. Premiering at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival as part of the U.S. Dramatic Competition, The Musical mixes sharp comedy, awkward relationships, school drama, and theatrical absurdity, with a U.S. theatrical release scheduled for September 18, 2026. . Jet fuel burned so hot that it weakened the structure from the heat the metal didn’t melt it just became very weak and there was also a literal plane that flew through the steel beams and destroyed enough beams where the tower cannot support it anymore

️Wally :
the building collapsed because it lost structural integrity because of fire and the giant hole in it not because of steel melting

Jet fuel doesn’t have to melt steel beams. It just has to make them soft enough to wear. They crumble under their own weight.

The beams were bent slightly on impact then the buildings started to sway under the pressure and ultimately the beams folded in half and snapped. Right before the fall you can see the towers waving and swaying
