@jen.sczerb: 25 years. We all remember where we were. We all have our story, and I think we all relive that day in some way each year. Living at the Jersey Shore, NYC always felt miles away. But that day, it felt closer than ever. The classrooms and hallways felt different. The sky was eerily empty. We wondered if anything was going to happen next. There was a fear of the unknown that I don't think any of us had ever experienced before. And then there were the people. The first responders. The good Samaritans. The ordinary people who did extraordinary things. So many lives lost in a brutal attack on America, yet in one of our darkest moments, we saw the incredible love and humanity people have for one another. As a nation, we may feel divided today, but I always go back to this day. We weren't divided. We were united. We knew we'd always remember. And we always will.
