For the onion to caramelize it needs more time than the chicken doesn’t that dry the chicken, can you fry the onion first in a pan then mix it with the chicken so the chicken doesn’t get too dry

I’ve never heard of pomegranate molasses do you just take some pomegranate juice and just like cook it for a long time or add sugar and let it cook and then turn into molasses
