@chinacg_chicago: The Sixth Short Video Competition:“A Glimpse of China” is Open for Submission The Sixth Short Video Competition hosted by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Chicago is now open for submissions. With the theme “A Glimpse of China” , this year’s competition invites participants to share their perspectives on China through short videos. Whether you have traveled to China in person or encountered China through the internet, your community, school, food, cultural events, or personal connections, we welcome you to capture what you have seen and experienced, what China means to you, and the stories you share with China, Chinese culture, and Chinese friends.   I. Eligibility The competition is open to students at elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges, and universities in the following 11 Midwestern states within the Consulate General’s consular district:Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota, Wisconsin. All interested students and others are welcome to participate. II. Submission and Competition Schedule 1. Submission Deadline: October 5 Participants should: · Post their short video on their personal social media account with the hashtag #AGlimpseofChina; · Send the video link, together with a completed and signed registration form and authorization form, to [email protected]; and · Use “Short Video Competition Entry Submission” as the email subject line. 2. Judging: October 6–11 3. Announcement of Results: October 12   III. Entry Requirements 1.Videos must be no longer than 3 minutes. 2.Videos must have a resolution of at least 1280 × 720 and be in MP4 format. 3.Entries should feature positive content and clearly reflect the competition theme. 4.Entries may be submitted by individuals, families, or groups. 5.Videos may be produced in Chinese or English.   IV. Awards Prizes will be awarded to 2 First Prize winners, 5 Second Prize winners, 10 Third Prize winners, as well as a number of Participation Prize winners. Award recipients will receive cameras, Bluetooth headphones, commemorative cultural and creative gifts, and other prizes.#China #chinatravel #chinamaxxing #AGlimpseofChina
