It’s just the way men word things sometimes. In the long run, if a man with traditional values does those traditional things, a woman would willingly want to fold his laundry and cook for him and all the things that a lot of men say that want. It’s all about clear communication and reciprocation. Helping each other equally. And not placing all the responsibilities on one party.

I say it regards to making your drs appt. Paying the bills and him never caring what’s in the account just buy what you want and leave me to figure by out how to make house payment because you saw something you wanted. I clean, cook,laundry snd maintain yard and have a full-time job. While his full-time was his only responsibility. Like a toddler.

I don’t even understand. I folded my boyfriend’s laundry sometimes because he worked hard and I just wanted to help…he would have done the same. It’s just helping each other out. Doing something for someone you like or love. Partners.

Yay! We are finally on the same page. You do half the hard (dead in the heat, cold in the snow) manual labor job…I’ll act like I want to do the same with complete confidence in the job I’ve never done before. Or rather I change my mind! I would much rather be in the A/C be in front of of the stove making things I’m proud of creating for the people who appreciate it. I might not like laundry but since I’m doing my own what’s the trouble? I realizing I’m a rare breed these days. How are the best of us are dying out?

I already bought the yard, the zero turn lawnmower, and actually prefer to cut the grass. You can do all the laundry.
