Often it's a process—a gentle, persistent mending that happens as we allow Him access to our broken places. Like a skilled doctor who must sometimes cause momentary pain to bring lasting healing, God's restorative work might involve uncomfortable stages of cleaning out what's infected before new tissue can grow. Healing also rarely happens in isolation. God often uses community, counseling, and spiritual disciplines as the bandages and medicines for our souls. Are you trying to heal alone when He's providing resources you're reluctant to accept? Today, identify one area where you need healing—whether it's a relationship, a regret, a loss, or a habit that keeps you bound. Bring it specifically before God, asking not just for the pain to stop, but for true restoration to begin. Then take one tangible step toward wholeness, whether that's making a phone call, scheduling an appointment, or simply speaking your hurt aloud to someone you trust. Hope isn't just wishful thinking; it's confident expectation based on who God is. And He is the God who heals.
