The ones from WF is not even close to wild harvested density but you had to make do, I’ve been there. Lol. Could be why they didn’t come out like you expected. Go back to the last place you found LM, if the tree (substrate) is still giving there’s a good chance you’ll find them again. I’ve been hitting the same tree for years years it will be next month. Alway in a hole excel one time I got lucky, it was outside the hole as well as inside! It’s in a park and I go at like 6am with two milk crates to stand on. One wrong move and the LM will fall inside a waiting puddle inside the hole. The things we go through! Nice video.

My favorite way to use Lions Mane is for veggie cheesesteaks! Pull apart the lions mane into strands. Then sear it with some salt, pepper, garlic, caramelized onion, and provolone.
