My youngest was tossing trash bags of her then boyfriends stuff over my porch railing while screaming and cussing him. Older sister showed up and was ready to wage war because her baby sister was crying and raging. Afterwards she crawled on my lap and cried and sister went to get all the snacks imaginable.

I didn't feel safe enough to cry about a break up w either of my parents until my last one, which had been my longest relationship at that point (3 years close to 4) and I just broke down on my dad's shoulder. I hope I can be a better safe space for both my kids
