Can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m moving home! Well my other home. London, which has become my home for the last 4 years, I’m sad to leave. Melbourne, Australia, which was my home before; is now going to be home again. So I’m excited for sure but I’m also nervous about this next step. It feels hard to leave London as I’m so proud for what I have built as a life, and I’m honoured to have you support me through. I’ve had some of the craziest experiences through starting VinnieCookClub (or Vinnietovindaloo to those who remember) in London, while living in one of the best cities in the world. So it’s hard to say goodbye for now. I arrived with no real direction and left with drive and an amazing supportive community who back and like what I do. I arrived in London with a girlfriend, and left with a fiancé who I am excited to marry next year. So while I’ll be in a new kitchen, which for London there’s already been 3, I’ll still be coming right to you on your screen! If you asked me at 12 years old what I’d be like at 30, I think it would be doing something I’m passionate about. I actually wanted to be a head chef but here we are 😅 While I’m not quite a head chef I’m now going to keep following my dreams. And in following my passions, I’m going to give food a full-time go in Australia, and who knows where that will take us. I’ve worked hard in finance for 9 years to hopefully help me with the business foundations I need. But it’s also a goodbye for now to the corporate world I know so well.
