These are part of the famous lines of poetry which Abdullah ibn al-Mubarak wrote to Fudayl ibn Iyad which brought him to tears. Both were giant scholars of the Salaf. Ibn al-Mubarak was a scholar of ⚔️while Fudayl ibn Iyad was a big worshipper. Fudayl was so famous for his worship in the Haramayn (Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi) that he got the title, "worshipper of the Haramayn." Yet it's interesting to note how ibn al-Mubarak says that Fudayl's worship is merely "playing" compared to ⚔️.
