I totally agree and people don’t realize even if the job you’re going for doesn’t require a degree they most likely will go with the candidates that have degrees unless you have years of experience in that industry and even if you try for a higher position in your company they most always choose the ones with degrees. Not always but they do for the most part.

People these days like to hear one answer for every situation which is silly. If you’re going to college with no plan whatsoever thinking “networking” will secure a job for you forget it. But if you have a clear goal in mind, and enjoy what you study I see no issues even getting in debt for something you want to do for the rest of your life
