I accidentally slipped HR. 1 in the video.
Roll Call 145, is the passage vote. 0 Dems voted for it. 214+0 is still 214.
Also in the first one, the Republicans nays could pass the bill, so that’s my bad. But that’s one bill, not 10 as the person said. A single bill is not evidence for corruption.

What I want to know is why is it always on party lines? It’s like their only loyalty is to party, not the people who voted for them.

its always weird theyll put the blame on democrats for being the problem when its like maybe 5%, while 100% of republicans actively going for it are just glossed over

HR1499, if *only* those Dems switched, would have failed. It passed by 2 votes, 2 Dems switching is effectively a 4 vote swing. Rest of the video you're spot on though.

Is it not an indictment on Hakeem Jeffries that he’s not able to whip complete party dissent against republican legislative priorities?

wouldn't the first one have been no? you aren't just subtracting 2 votes from one side, you're adding them to the other. the final vote was 210-208, take 2 from one and add it to the other makes 208-210, so wouldn't it not have passed? am I missing some function of the vote where that isn't how it works? genuine question, sometimes how votes work is counterintuitive and confusing

If they don’t like these politicians they somehow conveniently forget how to replace them. Primary numbers stay consistently low.

You still can. You are choosing to argue with them. Leftists are still voting Democrat regardless.
