valhalla and odyssey feel like the entire game was created and then they remembered it was supposed to be an assassin's creed game so they threw in some assassin stuff at the last minute. fun games but definitely dont fit the assassin series. shadows was alright but again you dont really feel like an assassin more like regular ninja and samurai.

Assassin's creed is not a game that you play series by series constantly. You can only play a few of them to keep your enjoyment memorable. Its origin is the old prince of persia series.
