@jessi.green: I left the gym today to news that shook me: another mother has taken the life of her child. Mothers are called to protect. This is the same spirit behind millions of abortions in our nation. The same spirit behind a movement that told women motherhood was oppression. The same spirit that now swings the other way and tells us the only faithful woman is one who never leaves her home. It’s all the same lie. And the answer has never changed: prayer and the gospel. So today, I’m calling every mom at Salt Church and across Wilmington — 📍 Red River Meeting House, 12:00pm we pray for families and revival 📍 UNCW, 1:30pm we take communion and lead students into salvation Bring your kids. Don’t leave them home as an excuse bring them into the fight with you. Women are powerful when we pray together. Women are powerful when we bring our children and don’t hide behind them. Women are powerful when we preach the gospel. I am so thankful for the women of Salt Church who cast out demons while nursing their babies. That’s who we are. Let’s gather. Let’s pray.
