@drgthelovemotivator: 🚨 PARENTS… I NEED YOUR OPINION ON THIS ONE! 😳 This conversation with my 12-year-old started over something simple: responsibility. But her response made me realise this conversation is MUCH bigger than a few dishes. Have we changed as parents… or have our children changed? Many of us grew up knowing that if Mum or Dad gave you a responsibility, you got it done. There wasn’t a negotiation every time. 😂 But today’s children are growing up differently. They’re encouraged to express themselves, question things and have a voice—and I believe children SHOULD have a voice. But having a voice doesn’t remove responsibility. So here’s the question: 🔥 Where is the line between allowing your child to express themselves and allowing disrespect? Because we’re not just raising children. We’re raising future adults. Future husbands. Future wives. Future parents. Future leaders. And learning to contribute, take responsibility and respect other people starts AT HOME. Now I want YOU to settle this debate. 👇🏾 If your 12-year-old had ONE household responsibility, didn’t do it, and then told you: “DO IT YOURSELF.” 😳 WHAT WOULD YOU DO NEXT? 💬 COMMENT — I genuinely want to hear how other parents would handle this. 👀 YOUNG PEOPLE — I want your opinion too. Is the parent right or wrong? 🔁 SHARE this video with another parent and ask them, “What would YOU do?” ❤️ LIKE if you believe children should have age-appropriate responsibilities at home. Let’s keep the comments respectful. We can disagree and still learn from each other. 👇🏾 PARENTS… THE COMMENT SECTION IS YOURS. #Parenting #ParentingDebate #GenAlpha #ModernParenting #OldSchoolParenting
