My oldest is old enough to get the cereal out and into a bowl. I'm not yet at the trusting with milk stage (we buy 3L milks). The sound of the cereal gets me outta bed quick smart.

its pure bliss. and because my oldest is tall enough for the fridge she gets her sister snacks to 🤣 untill they decide that they dont need you but want you to wake up and just be in their presence 😭

I’m awake before my kids but I definitely lay in bed sometimes just soaking it up, listening to them get up, talk with each other, laugh, make breakfast. It’s SO cute. 🥹

your kids wake up before you? how did you manage that? my body clock is a c**t and has me out of bed at 4.45am every day... yes, EVERY damn day including weekends, since i was 14yrs old. my girls would NEVER choose to be up before 7am! lol.
