hi. mom here that was told to "wait it out". I knew my daughter was autistic and they wouldn't take me seriously. So I went and demanded I GET assessed. Lo and behold I'm AuDHD and my daughter is THE SAME 🫠🫠 Only took me advocating for her for YEARS and until the third grade to finally be validated!!!

I know fictional story but.... my duaghter at 3 was told she was too young for labels....2 years later son turned 3 and they werw willing to start the process despite me not asking anything about that. 1 year after I finally got my 6yr old daughter diagnoised with ADHD and 5years later her team was like hey Little brother is Auadhd maybe she is also autistic lets check so at 11 she got her Autism diagnoises. 8 years after I statted pushing and asking.....
