First point is fair, never really understood why people hinge theories so heavily on the jet fuel argument, however it doesn’t account for WTC 7 collapsing in literal free fall. Without disrespect your second and third points are genuinely really poor and can be easily countered as they boil down to “it’s true bc the government said so”. Even without doing further research, if you can’t understand why the war in the Middle East and the vast extension of mass public surveillance post 9/11 would be, at the VERY least, tempting in the eyes of the government then you are lost. However I agree that the anniversary should not be a day where people post about conspiracies, it should be a day for remembrance

Thank you! Canadian social worker here. I coincidentally did a presentation on vicarious trauma and grief today for work and went over the research history, with 9/11 being a pivotal moment where it was proven that you do not need to be the person experiencing trauma to feel the psychological toll of the event witnessed. I was in kindergarten when it happened (again in CANADA) and to this day, still have a vivid memory of sensing the horror adults who were indirectly watching the news were expressing in their mannerisms

The Jet Fuel can't melt steel beams drives me crazy. Not only did a giant plane smash into the building destroying supports. But you don't need to completely melt steel beams to cause them to fail. They just need to be weakened

A lot of people I’ve seen on here pushing conspiracy theories weren’t even alive when it happened. I shared this on Facebook and think it’s really relevant for this conversation: Firsthand memories matter. In a world where misinformation and conspiracy can spread so easily, we have to keep telling the stories of the people who were there, the people who responded, and the families whose lives changed forever. Because eventually, memory becomes history - and we owe it to those who were lost, and those who carried us through the aftermath, to make sure that history is remembered truthfully.
