I think it’s important to include that humans still do have unconscious responses to olfactory chemical signaling, particularly relating to stress hormones and immune system compatibility. The reason you like the smell of someone’s sweat is because they have a different immune system profile from you, because it’s better to mix different ones when reproducing. But yes, humans do not have pheromones, and I think perfume/cologne is dumb.
