@pbsnews: Some family members of 9/11 victims urged the U.S. government to hold Saudi Arabia accountable on the 25th anniversary of the attacks, alleging the country played a role in facilitating them. Terry Strada, the widow of 9/11 victim Tom Strada, spoke up during a traditional reading of names at a memorial ceremony Friday at Ground Zero in New York. With four former presidents in the audience, she said current and past administrations “chose to protect the Saudis instead of standing with the 9/11 families.” Her remark drew some cheers. Most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi nationals. The Saudi government, which has denied complicity in the attacks, is facing a lawsuit from victims’ families, who are pressuring the Trump administration to release more declassified documents that they believe will provide more evidence about the Saudis’ alleged role.
