when i was a teenager, and would visit my grandparents, papa would give me $5, and in his mind that was generous. (this was in the 80's) Grandma would just smile and slip me a couple of twenties or $50 😁

for you young folks out there. this is 💯 best advice you will get regarding Grandma money. one time I took a Whooping, because when my mom asked where i got it, I told my mom I took it from my dad's dresser😳. the next day when my grandma found out she gave me more money.

My mamaw always tried to give me money and I never would take it so then she started trying to slip it into my pockets so I'd slip it right back out and do a hand off with my son who already knew to walk it back in the kitchen when she wasn't lookin and put it on her countertop where she'd find it easy after we left. Then she got so stubborn she'd walk right up to me and reach her hand down my shirt and attempt to shove the money into my bra 😭🤣😂 of course I'd pull it right back out and find a way to slip it back into her kitchen where she'd find it again after we left. She was a wild woman 🥰🥰🥰 I miss her a lot!

I would always find money in my pants pockets. That old lady would slip money into a pocket and not even the victim knew until they reach in to get something.

My Grandma was even sneakier with it. She'd give you something like a book or a grocery bag of clothes she'd bought at a yard sale & tell you not to mess with it till you got home. Either tucked inside the book or the pocket of something in the bag would be a $20 that you knew to IMMEDIATELY put in your piggy bank.

My grandma did this until the end. Her last year she wasn’t able to go out anymore and she had my mom go to the bank for her and get her some money out. My mom was like mom why do you keep needing me to take cash out every month. You can’t go anywhere what are you doing with it. My grandma told her to mind her business you never know when you need some cash on hand.
