@ambassadorbarb: 25 years ago on 9/11 ~ #NYCBarb stepped off the F train at 14th Street before 9 a.m., heading to her office on 5th Avenue, when she noticed everyone staring toward the World Trade Center 👀 She went upstairs to find out what was happening, and by the time she came back downstairs, she saw the second plane hit the tower, and the fiery inferno had begun. Everyone stood in the streets, trying to comprehend what had just happened 🔥 Recently  #AmbassadorBarb returned to NYC and visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Even after more than two decades, walking through that space was still incredibly triggering and emotionally jarring 😓 Watching history unfold on television is one thing. Being two miles away when it happened is something else entirely. Some memories never really leave you 💔 #9/11memorial
