This is one of the reasons I prefer TB over TG. It’s bc TB actually acts like FAMILY and work together as a team (up until they lose Jace). Meanwhile, TG is over here trying to undermine and tear each other down years before the war ever officially started

I never understood why in both book and show alicent never prepared aegon for anything. he wasn't liked by the small folk too. wouldn't preparing him for the throne in any small way, rather than him just spending his time drinking have helped them?

I think she meant you can tease/make fun of your brother in private but don't do it public because as princes the courts eyes are always on you and it will make Aemond look weak. She wasn't telling Aegon to go beat the shit out of his brother 😀. They are brothers they are going to fight, argue, annoy, and make fun of eachother no matter what.
