The holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial (the sole holdout who prevented an 11-1 acquittal by reason of insanity / lack of criminal responsibility, leading to a mistrial) has not been publicly named. Juror names remain sealed/impounded, and he has not spoken publicly. However, recent reporting from NBC10 Boston investigators has detailed his prior history of domestic violence allegations and related court matters. According to that reporting (based on court records and a police report they obtained): • In September 2021, he faced a criminal charge of assaulting his wife in Brockton District Court. A police report states that his then-13-year-old nephew called 911 after seeing him grab his wife by the throat and throw her into a dresser. • More recently (the year before the Clancy trial), the same nephew obtained a restraining order against him. In the affidavit, the teen alleged that the juror pushed him to the ground and repeatedly punched him in the face, then said something to the effect of “You ruined my [expletive] life” (for calling police in the earlier incident) and “You’ve had this coming your way for a long time.” • That restraining order was still active at the time the juror was selected for and served on the Clancy jury. Massachusetts juror questionnaires ask whether a person has been arrested, charged with a crime, or served with a court order. Legal experts quoted in the reporting (including NBC10’s chief legal analyst) have said these items should have been disclosed, that seating him raises questions about the jury selection process, and that failing to answer truthfully on the questionnaire can itself be a crime. The Plymouth District Attorney’s office and Clancy’s defense team were contacted about the findings.

This was a narcissist who was committed to his own agenda. Her not guilty verdict was taken from her by the same kind of man that’s caused me to be hooked to an iv pole getting daily infusions to stand upright 😡😡😡 She did NOT get a fair trial and my nervous system will die on that hill!!!!!
