@ginafindsit: Stop asking, “How do I get more followers?” and start asking, “Why would somebody follow me?” If you’re trying to grow a new TikTok account, give people a reason to come back. Teach them something. Solve a problem. Answer a question. Show them how to do something faster, cheaper, easier or better. Before you post, ask yourself: What does the person watching this get out of it? Because “follow me so I can grow my account” gives THEM nothing. But “here’s something I wish I knew when I started” gives them a reason to stop, watch—and maybe follow because they want the next thing you’re going to teach them.
