Do you think the United States today still has the same level of confidence and influence that it had after 9/11 in 2001, when it was able to mobilize Europe and much of the world behind its military campaigns, including the invasion of Iraq? Personally, I don’t think so. By 2026, the United States appears to have lost some of the influence and international support it once enjoyed. On major global issues, America can no longer assume that other countries will automatically follow its lead. To me, this suggests that the United States is increasingly standing alone on the world stage—not necessarily because it has become weak, but because the global balance of power and international alliances are changing.
